The Gliding Barnacles is a surf festival where photographers, musicians, artists, surfers, shapers, good food, sustainability, locals and foreigners meet together to create this bubble of good vibes.

I get invited to be part of the 15 artists to build a proper art gallery in this warehouse next to Figueira da Foz’s harbor. Great collective and creative times, where we could surf every morning the point right in front of our door, watch the international logging contest with one of the best surfers at the moment, chat with some of talented shapers and in the night, get involved into some good music concerts and having fun with the community.
This kind of event gives the opportunity to meet your surf family and from all around the world again. Just imagine the numbers of big smiles, the amount of happiness, just to meet again. Its about quality time more than quantity time, even if, we are all agree that we could live a life like that forever.
